Months ago I begun with a project: learn Mambo. The first horrible problem came in a few minuets: the code was bad. The second followed soon: all the output was hard-coded in the Mambo core components.
But finally: this (Dutch) result came around: Stichting Jazz In Groningen.

I love your site and am impressed at the work you have done to have it validating.
I thought you might like to know that Mambo 4.7 (due out Q.1 2007) is validating XHTML1.1 out of the box and meeting all WCAG1.0 Priority 2 and some Priority 3. Of course, that depends on what people do with their templates, but the core code is taking a direction towards full accessibility. It will be the frontend only that is completed for 4.7, with the administrator backend being refactored for accessibility after that.
For anyone interested in creating accessible web sites that use valid, semantic code, Mambo 4.7 is worth checking out once it is released.

I still prefer wordpress.
Fortunately, Wordpress cannot be used for every site you want, but for simple sites it is just great, indeed.
I have heard that Plone and Drupal are also nice, but haven’t tested them yet.
